Creating Classification Groups
Level Creation
In the global settings, the admin can create data classification groups up to level 2. For example:
- Level 0: Base and Incremental
- Level 1: Within Incremental, media and non-media
- Level 2: Within media, traditional and digital
On the data classification page, users can create groups that extend up to level 6.
Using Excel for Classification
Users can utilize Excel for classification by clicking on Export Classification. This action exports a template where variables are listed in column A, with columns B to G representing levels 0 to 5.
In Excel, users can define groups and classifications, then import the modified file back into the platform.
If the import is successful, a "Import Successful" toast message will appear at the top of the screen.
Note: Users can export the blank classification template with variables, classify them in Excel, and then import the modified file back into the platform. However, before doing this, users must manually classify the Time, Dimension, and Dependent categories within the platform, as these three cannot be classified in the Excel template.
