Additional Options and Advance Settings

After uploading and classifying data, and optionally providing financial inputs, users can proceed to the review module by clicking "Next." However, several additional features are available within the input module:

Input Data Summary

Located at the top right corner of the page, next to the "Advanced Settings" icon , users can access the Input Data Summary by clicking the Metadata icon . This will open a summary window displaying key information about your input data:

  • Period: Duration of your dataset (in weeks, months, or days).
  • Variable Count: Total number of variables included in the dataset.
  • Dimension Count: Number of dimensions present in your data.
  • Number of Groups: Total number of groups you've created.
  • New Variables: List of variables generated using the 'Create New Variable' feature.
  • Date Format: The format of the dates in the uploaded data cube.

This overview provides a quick snapshot of your dataset's structure and content, allowing you to verify its completeness and organization before moving on to analysis.

Advanced Settings

By clicking the "Advanced Settings" button, you can access options for advanced data configuration.

Set Revenue Multiplier

In the advanced settings, enable the "Set Revenue Multiplier" checkbox. This option allows you to set a revenue multiplier for variables classified under the "Base" category. This is particularly useful for modeling sales units alongside a price variable, enabling the system to calculate revenue by multiplying units sold by price for each period.

Variable Properties

Activate the "Variable Properties" feature using the toggle in the advanced settings. Confirming this setting adds a "Variable Properties" section below the input module, where users can define properties for each variable, categorized into data setup, modeling, and formatting stages.

These additional options enhance your ability to configure and review your dataset, ensuring a more effective analysis process.
